Weekend with the Boy

Even though it had been my weekend with the least planed it’s still been a busy one. Yesterday the family came over, including Jamie, John and 2 kids as well as my parents stopped by also. We were able to get the sub-floor laid in the bathroom upstairs, I would have liked to do a lot more however my allergies were acting up something fierce. Today has been much better in that regard. Today after doing a few things around the house and letting Heather sleep in as much as she could I took the little man out for a cruse. We went to Starbucks, and out to my old job at Lakeside to show him off a bit. He was very well-behaved and as always was the star of the show. It was nice to take the guy for a ride with just daddy.

I had thought about what it would be like when the time came to take him out just the two of us and was not sure if the experience would be a good one or just a pain. It was defiantly a good one, he loves to ride in the car and just sleeps most of the time. I know I should’nt wish him to grow up but I cant wait for when he is old enough to walk and talk and we have our Father/Son chats in the car and activities together and all that stuff. Its going to be a blast.
